David and Enrique have been friends for over 15 years. Both film lovers, they decide to venture to the Atacama Desert to shoot a feature film. With no acquaintances, no locations, no actors, and only $11,000 and a lot of enthusiasm, they travel to Chile for 21 days with the dream of making a movie. Acting as both pseudo-sequel to, and remake of, Cutting Moments, Buck's follow-up changes the focus from the matriarch to the father... or, more fittingly, the many fathers... and the sins they pass down. Eschews explicit violence for a more psychological approach, to a no less harrowing result.

With her the husband and her mother Katya lives in a small provincial town and works at the local factory. In pursuit of imaginary material well-being Katya decides on a most desperate act.
