In the middle of a broadcast about Typhoon Yolanda's initial impact, reporter Jiggy Manicad was faced with the reality that he no longer had communication with his station. They were, for all intents and purposes, stranded in Tacloban. With little option, and his crew started the six hour walk to Alto, where the closest broadcast antenna was to be found. Letting the world know what was happening to was a priority, but they were driven by the need to let their families and friends know they were all still alive. Along the way, they encountered residents and victims of the massive typhoon, and with each step it became increasingly clear just how devastating this storm was. This was a storm that was going to change lives.

As the BBC makes its exit from the iconic west London site of Television Centre, BBC Four presents a special night of celebration of the building and its 53-year history. To kick start proceedings, the nation's favourite nutty boys and national treasures Madness take to the stage at the front of BBC Television Centre to perform an hour long concert in front of an assembled audience nine days before TV Centre closes its doors. Lee Ha-yeon is the wife of the heir to Ilsin Group and even so one of the richest women in South Korea. She is respected and enjoys the luxury of her penthouse. But one day she is found dead in a hotel room. The police thinks she had been poisoned and is investigating the case very secretly to avoid a scandal. But they have no clue what happened to Lee Ha-yeon. They are no signs of a forced entry and there are no fingerprints at all. The police are even wondering what Ha-yeon did in this hotel room. But the police is joined by Ha-yeon's estranged sister Ha-jong who received a camera from her sister just shortly before her death. The camera reveals that Ha-yeon had several sex chats and meetings. And they also get to know that Ha-yeon had been blackmailed and finally they witness how she was killed. Ha-jong feels guilty as she couldn't help her sister and she becomes desperate to find the murderer.

Zanskar is a remote kingdom in the northwest Indian Himalaya, where local people are snow-bound for six months of the year. About 10,000 Zanskaris live in the isolated valley. In winter, mountain passes are blocked, the summer Jeep road closes and buses stop. Two decades ago, three friends founded a ski school - to enable winter travel in the valley, improve quality of life, and to encourage young people to stay in Zanskar by helping establish a culture of mountain sports. The film tells the story of this friendship, the ski school and the development of skiing in the area. Along the way a bigger question is raised. Most recently, the federal government announced a major road building project that will provide year round access to Zanskar. How can Zanskar's wilderness be preserved? It is only a matter of time before the winter road is completed, and the "Big India" rushes in.
