An honest, hard-working schoolteacher in a small Bulgarian town is driven to desperate measures to avoid financial ruin.

In the near future, glacial melting has covered 98% of earth's landmass. Sharks have flourished and now dominate the planet, operating as one massive school led by a mutated alpha shark.

A young man works for a chauffeur company and is given the job of driving the favorite daughter of a Qatari prince who is to undergo an operation in Germany. He and the open-hearted woman grow closer, but then the patriarch's health causes their planned wedding to be brought forward.
