Dear Aunt Agnes was a children's show on TV Ontario that debuted on Tuesday, Jan 7, 1986. The show's premise was that a divorced mother called her Aunt Agnes to come and take care of her children so that she could take a job in another country. Agnes Peabody was a lovable 65-year-old eccentric who moved in with her pre-teen nephew and teenage niece. Agnes was not fond of the seemingly modern amenities of her new home. Agnes was also very fond of Elvis Presley. The show was designed for eight- to twelve-year-olds with a conscious effort to create a non-traditional family situation in which children are given the responsibility for a lot of their decisions. Cancelled after two 13-episode seasons, it aired in reruns before returning in 1989 with a new batch of episodes in which Andrew and Alex were all grown up. In this last season, the problems the kids encountered reflected issues that affect teens.

Razzledazzle is a BBC television programme for children that airs on BBC's CBeebies channel. It is an educational show that features Razzledazzle, a little orange CGI character with floppy ears and big eyes, voiced by Bethen Marlow. 2006-2010 The programme is designed to get the viewer to focus upon sound, and, by sliding down magical slides, Razzledazzle visits 4 areas, "Rhyme Time", "Chit Chat", "Bish Bash Bosh!" and "Once Upon a Tale". "Rhyme Time", presented by Sarah Hope, invites the viewer to recognise an everyday sound, which is then set to a poem and often repeated, allowing for interaction. "Chit Chat" features children involved in activities with their relations, focussing on natural communication skills. "Bish Bash Bosh" involves children acting out simple rhymes which are easily memorable, accentuating rhythm, syllables and rhyme. "Once Upon a Tale", presented alternately by Mina Anwar and Patrick "Wink" Lynch, is designed to create stories using predictive and repeated elements, widening the viewer's vocabulary and allowing for plenty of physicalisation of the narrative. At the end of the programme, Razzledazzzle and the other presenters perform "The Not So Long Song", composed by Ben Lee Delisle.

Machine Robo: Battle Hackers is a Japanese animated television series produced by Ashi Productions. It ran on TV Tokyo from June 3, 1987 through December 30, 1987.

Spotlight is the name given to a BBC Northern Ireland weekly current affairs programme. The programme is aired on BBC1 Northern Ireland at 10.35pm on Tuesday evenings, with a repeat on BBC2. It is available to UK viewers outside of Northern Ireland on BBC iPlayer for a week after the programme. The format usually consists of a half hour report presented on a rotating basis by a small number of reporter/presenters. Britain's Worst Driver was a British television series created and hosted by ex-Top Gear host Quentin Willson made by Mentorn and shown on Five in the United Kingdom from 2002 to 2003. In 30-minute episodes, the worst drivers chosen by viewers "earned back" their driving licences by performing various driving challenges. The driver who performed the worst was awarded Britain's Worst Driver. The success of the series led to localized versions of the show, and creation of the Worst Driver television franchise.

Loosely based on the 1844 Alexandre Dumas novel The Count of Monte Cristo, Montecristo is Telefe's most popular novela and was called "the hottest telenovela in Argentina" by Variety in 2007. Like Dumas' novel, the novela is a tale of revenge, with this version featuring "drug trafficking, kidnapping and military dictatorships." It was directed by Miguel Colom, and stars Pablo Echarri and Paola Krum.
