After an experimental gene therapy turns them into monsters, three twenty-somethings band together to hunt down the scientist responsible and force him to make them human again.

In a small town in northern Mexico, where two drug cartels rule, the young man Lupe embraces his dangerous fate. He transforms into Coyotl, a mythical creature that is half man and half beast. With this transformation, Lupe wants to become the protector his people so desperately need.

An epic adventure begins when a massive sinkhole opens in the middle of Los Angeles, pulling hundreds of people and buildings into its depths.
