For a long time, Masha Roshchina, a young doctor, did not want to introduce her chosen cosmonaut, Andrei Izotov, to her mom and dad, especially her dad. Masha's father is police lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Roshchin, and Masha's chosen one detests law enforcement officers and treats them with irony bordering on hatred. The meeting of the parents and Andrei eventually takes place right in the wedding palace, and the wedding is disrupted. Masha sets a condition: the future husband and father should get along. Andrey, who loves a girl, gets a job as a police intern and, together with Lieutenant Colonel Roshchin, rushes in pursuit of the criminal Taktarov, who stole the American diplomat Harrison. The criminals manage to leave St. Petersburg, the case becomes international, and now all police forces are deployed to catch the adventurer holding the diplomat. Taktarov is heading south, with endless fun adventures ahead for the pursuers and the escapees.
