In the country of materialists, Messing is listed as a hypnotist and magician, he is both an experimenter and a test subject, and unofficially becomes Stalin’s own astrologer. He survived two dictators and remained here as an “unusual magician,” a strange predictor whose predictions invariably came true. Wolf Messing kept secrets that there was no one to share with him, secrets that died with him. But the greatest secret was himself, the genius and charlatan Wolf Messing.

Boys of fourteen years old find themselves in the Suvorov school – someone thanks to family tradition, someone for the sake of high ideals, and someone not even of their own free will. Herbie the Matchmaker, also known as Herbie, The Love Bug, is a short-lived situation comedy that aired on CBS in the spring of 1982. The series is based on Walt Disney Productions' popular Herbie film series, about a Volkswagen Beetle with a mind of its own. It was cancelled after five episodes and, for the next fifteen years, would mark Herbie's last new appearance in either television or film; Herbie would next return to television in the 1997 film The Love Bug.
