Land of the Tiger is a BBC nature documentary series exploring the natural history of the Indian subcontinent, first transmitted in the UK on BBC Two in 1997. The production team covered the breadth and depth of India, from the Himalayan mountains in the north to the reef-fringed islands of the Indian Ocean, to capture footage of the country's wild places and charismatic wildlife. Land of the Tiger was co-produced by the BBC Natural History Unit and the WNET/13 network. It was produced by Mike Birkhead and presented by leading Indian naturalist Valmik Thapar. The series is characterised by scenes of Thapar riding on an elephant in locations across the country. The series forms part of the Natural History Unit's Continents strand. It was preceded by Spirits of the Jaguar in 1996 and followed three years later by Andes to Amazon.

The vampire gently picked up the kitten and gave it some of their own blood. The kitten suddenly began to change. It grew fangs and a pair of wings. This was the birth of Nyanpire. "You've gained eternal life, but now you must live as a vampire forever. You'll have to find your own blood from now on." Nyanpire was then taken in by a girl and her family and has been living a fun life as a house cat. But it still thirsts for blood... "Give me-ow blood."

The Wheeltappers and Shunters Social Club was a British television variety show produced by Granada Television from 1974 to 1977. It was set in a fictional working men's club in the North of England and was hosted by comedian Colin Crompton. Also regularly featured was comedian Bernard Manning who sang most weeks. Crompton was frequently the butt of Manning's jokes, unwittingly acting as Manning's stooge.
