The Metric Marvels is a series of seven animated educational shorts featuring songs about meters, liters, Celsius, and grams, designed to teach American children how to use the metric system. They were produced by Newall & Yohe, the same advertising agency which produced ABC's popular Schoolhouse Rock! series, and first aired on the NBC television network in September 1978. Voices for the Metric Marvels shorts included Lynn Ahrens, Bob Dorough, Bob Kaliban, and Paul Winchell.

Nora Telese is a psychiatrist who recently moved to San Benedetto del Tronto with her teenage daughter Camilla. Their life seems to flow serenely and Camilla meets Sonia, whith whom a unique and special friendship developes. One Saturday evening in May, the two girls go to a party and don’t return home. Their phones are unreachable and both girls seem to have disappeared into thin air. The prosecutor opens a file; Vice Quaestor Giovanni Nemi is in charge of the investigation; the case becomes increasingly complicated.

Yeon Nam is a first-year student at the same university. They also study the same major. Chong Nam and Yeon Nam become friends and develop romantically.

Crayon Shin-chan is a popular yet controversial Japanese anime series. Shin is a 5 year old boy who is constantly doing and saying inappropriate things, much to the dismay and annoyance of those around him, with hilarious results. Shin along with his family including his little sister Himawari and his dog Shiro, as well as his friends from kindergarten, ends up turning everyday situations into funny adventures. The show has aired in Japan since 1992 and broadcast over a thousand episodes. It has been dubbed into English by a variety of different companies. Robotics expert Dr. Otoi built Signal to be a powerful companion for his young grandson, Nobuhiko. However, a mishap during Signal's programming led to an unexpected glitch. Despite this little problem, days are usually happy and fun around the Otoi household, where robots, people and animals live in harmony. Except for the occasional feud over house cleaning chores or the affections of the female robot Elara. everything is relatively peaceful. However, one day Signal is attacked by Pulse, one the Doctor's previous creations and the prototype for Signal. Despite being critically nearsighted, Pulse is loaded down with weapons and has been reprogrammed by Dr. Otoi's mysterious rival. He's on a mission to steal the most recent robot technology, and obliterate anything that gets in his way.
