The year is 1975, and the West German embassy in Stockholm is occupied by German terrorists. It's an attack not only on the embassy, but on Sweden's long-standing pride as a peaceful nation. In the aftermath of the violent occupation, the Swedish Security Police suspects the six terrorists had help from the outside, possibly from a group of Swedish sympathizers. But no leads can be found until fourteen years later.

Midu is an unemployed village lad with limited education who dreams of being big. After participating in his first election and consequently losing, he decides to move to the city in order to earn money so that he can stand again in the council elections. He befriends a city businessman who mentors Midu whilst he works as his servant.

Kabouter Wesley (English: Gnome Wesley) is a series of comics and short animated cartoons about a grumpy and violent kabouter (gnome), made by Jonas Geirnaert. Both the drawing style and the content are purposely made naive and amateuristic and the situations are surreal and violent. There is also a lot of insulting and toilet humour in the series.
