Arden Eversmeyer (April 4, 1931 – November 14, 2022) was an American LGBT rights activist and educator best known for founding Lesbians Over Age Fifty (LOAF) and the Old Lesbian Oral Herstory Project (OLOHP) to support and document the lives of older lesbians. A retired public school teacher and counselor, she dedicated her later years to building community and preserving lesbian history; OLOHP’s collection of hundreds of oral herstories is archived at the Smith College Libraries. Her work was recognized internationally and became the subject of the 2023 documentary Old Lesbians.
