He transitioned to professional wrestling after competing in MMA and powerlifting and made his in-ring debut with All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) in 2011 after training through the promotion’s dojo system. Known as the “Smart Bastard” and previously the “Good Looking Emperor,” Lee is best known for his stints in All Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH, where he became a two-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, won the 2021 Champion Carnival, led the Good Looking Guys stable from 2023 to 2024, and captured the GHC Heavyweight Championship by defeating Kaito Kiyomiya at Great Voyage in Yokohama in March 2023.
