Born and raised in Prizren, Leze Qena moved to Pristina to study acting where she became a regular member of the National Theatre of Kosovo after graduating. Qena is best known for her role as grandma Antigona in the long-running series Familja moderne. Her personal favorite role of hers was in the 1950s stage adaptation of The Diary of Anne Frank, where she performed the title character.
