He is the author of the best-selling autobiography Kate: Inside the Rainbow and Cathy, winner of the British Book Design and Production Award in 2015. He has read his poetry on BBC Radio 3 and was shortlisted for the Bridport Poetry Prize in 2018. He is an accomplished martial artist and teaches in Europe and the UK.
