Abel Pêra (Carregosa, Oliveira de Azeméis, 16 November 1891 – Rio de Janeiro, 27 September 1975) was a Portuguese actor based in Brazil. Brother of Manuel Pêra and uncle of actress Marília Pêra, Abel Pêra entered the world of theater in his late teens as a carpenter, among his works are A Pensão da Dona Estela and Feitiço, by Oduvaldo Vianna. Uncle and godfather of actress Marília Pêra, Abel, even after becoming an actor, continued making wooden objects. Friend Chico Anysio once received a golf club he had made from Abel.
