Director Khaled El Hagar graduated from Law School 1987 from Cairo University. He worked as an assistant to the legendary director Youssef Chahine.
Later on he went to study cinema at Beaconsfield in the UK and graduated from that in 1994.
Khaled El Hagar was one of the lecturers in the Berlin workshop for young talents as the only Egyptian to do so.
His films were screened in almost 150 international film festivals such as Cannes, Montreal, Rotterdam and New York. He won 35 awards both internationally and nationally.
