I recorded this video a week after filming the special, just because it was the last show of the tour. It's quite different in feeling and form compared to the version of the special (confusingly listed as 'What is This? - Original' on this channel). While filming a special I focus on precision and performance, that is doing the show exactly as written and capturing the show as I first conceived it. Live shows on the other hand are also informed by their context —where is this, what time is it, how are you feeling, how am I feeling, is the room too cold, was traffic awful, did someone leave to go to the loo?, etc. This show captures a little more of the regular live experience of performing a stand up show. It's looser, and more tied to the show that day instead of the special-special which aims to capture the show out of time. I hope this isn't confusing. I'm quite confused writing it.

Objectionable Fruit is an experimental documentary examining the Ginkgo tree—a living fossil celebrated for its resilience and unique capacity to change sexes, defying human- imposed binaries. Using the Ginkgo as a metaphor for fluidity and endurance, the film weaves together themes of gender identity, ecological interconnectedness, and the nuanced complexities of trans existence.
As a crier, this film involves a process of trying to hold back tears — as words break down and turn into crying — and of trying to explain the tears. It is also about an ambivalent attitude — being personal yet attempting to keep a distance from personal emotions, wanting to talk about crying but being unable to.
In 2006, Angerame was invited to Havana, Cuba, to present his City Symphony Series at the Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano de La Habana, which marked the beginning of his 13-year collaboration with the festival as a programmer. HABANA is a record of that visit, tracing Havana in Fidel Castro's final year as Cuban leader and the ongoing propaganda war between the U.S. and Cuba.
We invite you on a journey into the realms of the subconscious where you will question the nature of reality and perception. Disappearing is a short film that takes you into the realms of the subconscious and gives you the impression that, just like in dreaming, you have generated the images yourself, even though you don't know why. The film explores the claim of material reality, that matter is just a vibration of energy, that reality is not as we perceive it and that there is much more that we don't see.
