A Film By Mehdi Barzaki

The story opens in 1869 Madagascar, a society rigidly divided by class. Railovy, a young peasant, falls for Lala, an aristocrat whose heart is out of reach. Knowing their love is impossible, he turns to Ary, an ancestral deity, for magic. In a moment of arrogance, Railovy dooms them both to immortality, binding their fates for more than 150 years. The tale spans multiple historical eras up to 2024, with a central section set in the 1960s where the drama reaches its deepest intensity.
