Between 1910 and the end of World War II, Korea belonged to the Japanese Empire. Since then the Koreans, known in Japan under the name of "zainichi", are the first ethnic minority. Sometimes the zainichi still try to hide their origin. After the death of his grandmother, the last member of a Korean family begins a journey to his hometown.
