Wakabayashi Ema is a temporary employee who works at a banquet hall where glamorous celebrities gather. But, she loses her job after protesting against her superior's sexual harassment towards a junior employee. Wandering, Ema visits a perfume shop run by a mysterious woman named Shirashi Yayoi, also known as the "witch." While helping in the shop, Ema realizes that she holds the key to shaping her future through the words and scents given to her by Yayoi. Ema moves to work for a fragrance company, where she reunites with Ren.

The modern world holds many secrets, but by far the most astounding is that witches still live among us; vicious supernatural creatures intent on unleashing the Black Death upon the world and putting an end to the human race once and for all.
