Alastray at first tells them he is not a priest, but they don't believe it, and an apparent miracle seems to prove they are correct. Eventually, he assists them in regaining their confidence and defending themselves.

She hires recovering alcoholic Dave Nash as foreman and a crew of Ivey's enemies. Connie's boast that, as a woman, she doesn't need guns proves justified, but plenty of gunplay results.
