“The inevitable”
Unheimlich is a psychological drama about a man who's convinced that he's dead. The film takes place at Christmas in Copenhagen with all the laughter and joy. But not from our lead character. He just sits at the famous Christmas-attraction 'Kongens Nytorv' in the heart of Copenhagen and just observe 'the living'. One day at Kongens Nytorv, he spots a man who looks exactly like himself, but this man is dangerous, and when he sees our lead character starring at him - he just goes off and walks directly at him and threatens him not to look at him. The movie explores the feeling of emptiness in a dead man living in the very systematic society, that we live our everyday-life in. And watch it.

Robert Hansen, 34, a young police officer from Copenhagen, is transferred against his will to the small town of Skarrild in Southern Jutland as a substitute Marshall. The transfer is Robert’s chance to start over. Whether he is allowed to return to his job in Copenhagen, all depends on how well he performs in this frontier town.

20 men are chosen to participate in the roles of guards and prisoners in a psychological study that ultimately spirals out of control.
