Women workers in textiles talk about their works while being focused by six artists and film makers in 5 countries. Who are they? Why do they engage in textile? We take time to listen, to see, and let the film mingles the sights. We are looking beyond what we have already known, wish to meet women who have their fingers on the pulse of textile industry. Norma Rae is a southern textile worker employed in a factory with intolerable working conditions. This concern about the situation gives her the gumption to be the key associate to a visiting labor union organizer. Together, they undertake the difficult, and possibly dangerous, struggle to unionize her factory.
