Fate brings a young man from rural Kerala to be the protector of a young Lama in Nepal, who is being chased by a dangerous cult.

Jagannadhan moves to Kanimangalam and wins over the locals, but falls into trouble with Appan Thamburan, a feudal lord. It starts after he organises a festival that has been banned by Appan himself.

The film is about seven young men, passionate about football – sevens football to be precise – and how they inadvertently get involved in a crime.
