Unemployed, directionless and facing spiralling debt - Craig shares a flat with his fiancée, Rachel. She has a new job and a promising future but Craig's daily life has become a hopeless cycle of interviews, sleep and unwise loans that leave him feeling terrified that he might never make anything of himself.
