The Promise (2016)

A kindhearted seventeen-year-old in the American Southwest turns to prostitution to fulfill her dream of a new life in San Francisco.

On his first weekend parole alfer five years in prison, Mark Rodriguez witnesses the armed robbery of a security van. His brothers critical situation and his own feelings of remorse will lead him to take desperate measures. His only help will be a young and attractive stripper he met the night before.

Isi doesn't get the world anymore. Just a short while ago, life was wild, fun, and without obligations, but suddenly everyone around her seems to be grown-up and successful. With her diploma in one hand and a drink in the other, she is stuck between the careless days of college and real life. When her best friend Lotte gets a respectable job and becomes pregnant, Isi realizes that she needs to find a way to start living a life on her own.

Saeed is a forty-year-old mason, severe and fanatical in his religious beliefs. One day his wife is accosted by a driver who assumes she is a prostitute. Seething with rage, Saeed seeks revenge. The prostitutes he eliminates are, however, merely destitute women forced to sell their bodies in order to feed their children.
