DREAM.7 took place on March 8, 2009, at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, promoted by Fighting and Entertainment Group’s DREAM. The main event features Shinya Aoki facing David Gardner in a lightweight bout, with Aoki coming off a unanimous decision win over Joachim Hansen at DREAM.5 and Gardner entering after a TKO victory in M-1 Challenge. A banker, husband, and father, Mr. Smith must leave it behind him. He's made a mistake and he's trying to pay for it but he doesn't know if there is enough money in the world. In the aftermath of the 2001 political elections, Matteo quarrels violently with his wife Livia, a passionate left-wing militant, who accuses him of having voted for Berlusconi. Livia is unable to accept the situation but, just as she leaves the marital home, she is hit and injured by a fragment of a plane that crashed in their garden. Matteo, distraught over the loss of his wife, drives in the middle of a storm and hits a man.

Vanessa inherits an old Portuguese Revue theatre after the death of a distant aunt. Her agent, Tozé Leal, tries to convince her to sell it, but she decides to restore it to its former glory with the help of her friends Joana and Ribeiro. But her dream will not be easy to achieve: Armando, the owner of a neighbouring theatre, will do everything he can to stop Vanessa.
