Overview

Malem, a Karo girl who hopes that her lover, Apul, will soon return from the battlefield. Malem's mother tries to match her with another man, but Malem's belief remains in the promise she made to Apul as a child that they would get married. As time passed, Apul never came home. With the help of his grandmother, Malem tried to summon Apul's spirit, asking where he was.
