The Butterfly's Dream (2013)

Ali Osman is a former bully of city of Istanbul. But lately he gives up bully and starts to operate a synthetic pitch. He often meets his old friends, former bullies, too. One day Ali Osman receives a news which is related with his previous passionate life. Then the whole action stats as a chain of events.

Xate is an ordinary woman from Midyat with eight children in tow. The only thing that sets her apart is her husband's job as Mayor of Midyat. Until, that is, an extraordinary day changes her life - and the lives of everyone else in Midyat. For the illiterate, uneducated Xate becomes Mayor of Midyat! The fate of Umut and Gülüm merge at this point. Umut found the opportunity he had waited for the rest of his life. But this opportunity drags Umut into very difficult situations, and finds itself in a position that risks the lives of all loved ones. For Umut to come out of this vortex, he has to make very serious decisions. And love is worth everything? Is this love?

Demirer performs stand-up comedy and acts as a "one-man cabaret"! The successful comedian has a wide repertoire ranging from Turkish classical music to opera, folk music to pop and arabesque. Demirer is accompanied on stage by an orchestra conducted by Taşkın Sabah and, from time to time, dancers. The humor-filled stories that the audience eagerly awaits also take their place on stage between songs. Ata Demirer, with his unique style, both makes the audience laugh with his jokes and brings a pleasant sound to the theater stage with his songs.
