Paris, France. Commissaire Wens is put in charge of the investigation into the murder of one of six friends who, in the past, made a very profitable promise.

On the highways of the Ruhr region, the paths of four people cross as they try to fulfill their long-lost dreams. Ha-jong feels guilty as she couldn't help her sister and she becomes desperate to find the murderer.
