Running Out of Time (1999)

A career-long undercover Hong Kong cop is sent to Mainland China when his former protégé becomes the primary suspect in a murder.

San Francisco police officer Frank Connor is in a frantic search for a compatible bone marrow donor for his gravely ill son.
