Among the backdrop of 1950s Los Angeles, Johnny, a working-class hoodlum caught up with a ring of car thieves, is floored when he meets Laura, a rich girl riding in a hot set of wheels. But nothing can prepare these teenage lovebirds for the head-on collision of cultures that results from their passion-fueled, high-octane relationship.

This story is about a journey, a relationship and returning home. He has already been driving his truck for twenty years throughout Russia while she waits him at home. He is alone on the road. She is together with her beloved pet, faithful friend and protector Irbis. This could continue for longer if he was not terminally ill.

Filmed during a studio-organized press junket, "Meet Marlon Brando" observes Marlon Brando as he fields a succession of television interviews meant to promote Morituri. Rather than comply, Brando deflects questions with irony, flirtation, and philosophical detours, subtly undermining the promotional ritual itself. Shot in direct-cinema style by Albert Maysles and David Maysles, the film becomes a candid study of celebrity, media performance, and resistance to commodification.

Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer Solomon Burke -- justly dubbed the King of Soul -- delivers an electrifying performance at Switzerland's AVO Session Basel music festival. Tracks include classics such as "A Change Is Gonna Come," "Georgia on My Mind," "Down in the Valley," "Proud Mary," "Lucille" and "Long Tall Sally." In addition, special guests Terri and Selassie Burke sing renditions of "I Will Survive" and "Mona Lisa."

The demonic Nicholas Diabolus is put on trial accused of interfering with people's lives.
