Lacho Cuevas is the old thief of the town, exiled years ago because of his crimes. However, due to a series of robberies against the town's merchants, Cuevas is hired by the Sheriff to help catch the mysterious thief "Black Rider".

Hello explores changes in two people’s working lives: a Mexican trash picker who separates and collects recyclable materials from landfills to sell by the kilo, and a German freelance computer-animation designer working for the advertising industry in Berlin.
