After news that their dear friend had passed away, the Primus Family decide to give up their busy life in New York to journey around the world with hopes of growing closer as a family, and proving the value of travel in raising children to be compassionate human beings who feel part of the greater global community. After visiting Argentina, Colombia, Taipei, Vietnam, The Yukon and Lebanon the traveling family is halted by the global shut downs that resulted from the Covid-19 pandemic. The family decides to relocate to a small farming town where they recount the lessons and adventures of their journey - and how it changed their lives forever.

On their journey from New York City to Los Angeles, the two stop by Pittsburgh to pick up Jane's friend Holly, who is trying to escape an abusive relationship. With three distinct personalities, the women must overcome their differences to help one another.
