This film tells the story of the undefeated general Wang Tian Sheng and Yao Er getting along with each other, day and night, on the battlefield. He rescued a strange woman, Xiao Rou, on the way back to Beijing, but the arrival of Xiao Rou caused a misunderstanding between Wang Tian Sheng and Yao Er. In the end, Yao Er left sadly, and a terrible conspiracy started to unfold around the story of the three people.

When his mother dies, young Peter Ibbetson leaves Paris and his best friend, Mary, behind to live with a severe uncle in England. Years later, Peter is an architect with little time for women, until he begins a project with the Duke and Duchess of Towers.
