In the early 1960s, tens of thousands of Shanghai youth came to the Xinjiang Military Region Production and Construction Corps to support frontier construction. These young people, full of pride, came from the Huangpu River to the desolate Gobi desert to join the Corps’ various regiments to participate in production and construction. Dedicated youth and enthusiastic blood have made historic contributions to the development of Xinjiang He Corps.
