Takis, a flower shop employee who dreams of becoming a singer, meets Jenny, a famous folk singer, who falls in love with him. Jenny helps Takis to move forward and pursue a career in folk music. Their love is destroyed by the whims of a malicious rich woman, who introduces herself to Jenny as Takis' wife. Jenny is shaken and retreats to a convent, while Takis, following these developments, loses his job and turns to drink. A mutual friend will help the troubled couple reconnect and find happiness.
