The main character Gabit is a representative of the criminal world. He got sick while in prison. The lungs cannot breathe on their own. He always carries an oxygen tank. At the clinic where he is being treated, they say they can't help him, it's too late. "Gaba" escapes from the clinic, wanting to spend the last moments of her life free.
