Inspired by a dream of a monkey who tells "stories" by waving a stick that emits abstract shapes, light and movement, this is the "story" of a sculptor making sculpture. It is also a form of dreaming with Cinema. Constructed in lush, layered images, we see sculpture, Jon von Bergen at work but the true subject of this filmic tapestry is the elusive and enigmatic quality of the creative process. The film chronicles George's adventures as he befriends Kayla, a baby elephant, at a magic circus show and helps her travel across the country to be reunited with her family.Accompanied by his friend, the Man with the Yellow Hat, George travels by foot, train, and truck to reach Kayla's brother and sister in California, only to be accused of elephant-napping and brought all the way back to New York.

A newborn monkey and its mother struggle to survive within the competitive social hierarchy of the Temple Troop, a dynamic group of monkeys who live in ancient ruins found deep in the storied jungles of South Asia.
