Following a lead from Fujiko, Lupin and Jigen excavate the sea floor in Kiritappu to search for a lost underwater treasure that supposedly holds the secrets of time travel. After the Lupin gang escapes a run-in with the law, a strange man calling himself Kyousuke Mamoh strands the Lupin gang hundreds of years in the past.

With "little captain" Cambrai raising serious doubts about the reality of the so-called "super spy," Colonel Toulouse kidnaps Christine and forces Francois to play again the character of "The Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe" in some fake adventures. All this to stop the investigation into the death of Colonel Milan.

The characters receive an email from Ovan requesting them to go to Δ Hidden Forbidden Festival where a mysterious summer festival is set up. There they encounter an AIDA Chim Chim who wishes to peacefully co-exist with the players of The World. It then transforms into the word "Returner", which Haseo assumes it to mean that Ovan will return to The World.
