40 international directors were asked to make a short film using the original Cinematographe invented by the Lumière Brothers, working under conditions similar to those of 1895. In a suburban landscape, the lives of several families interlace with loss, despair and personal crisis. Helen Christianson wants to find a new spark in life, while Annette Jennings tries to rebuild hers.
