Kevin Nealon: Whelmed, But Not Overly (2012)

Boy is the unsettling story of a young male prostitute, or Rent Boy, in a small rural town who learns the truth behind a hit and run accident which has killed a local girl. When the news of the girls death spreads through the community, the driver and his family decide that the boy must be silenced. The set out to scare him into silence. The pressure becomes more and more violent, but despite this, the boy battles to expose the truth.

Two doctors are trying to stop a rampant epidemic of zombieism. They fend off zombies spilling many a gallon of blood in the process.

Ava, an award-winning chef at a big-city restaurant, has lost her spark. Her boss sends her out to find herself to save her menu and her job. He throws himself from the window of his room, but instead of falling to his death, the anchor of a passing balloon intercepts his flight and he is taken high into the clouds. Laughing at his plight, the moon arouses the anger of the desperate lover and a battle between the two ensues.

This is a film that deals with gay relationships within the community of people of color. Characters that can't be boxed, dealing with everyday issues about love and loss.

A terrible film about a shockingly sad story. The honour killing of a 26 year old gay man by his father. Wendel's writing is banal and lifeless, his direction is no better. A young man who deserved better.............
