Joan and Obelisk is a short-form video diary of a particularly hot day in a life of two future people- Joan, a virtual activist enthused by action, and Obelisk, an analog dog walker undergoing a second puberty. The video, or "cellular medallion", is a short recollection of a poorly planned play-date.
