In the story, the actor Aidarov, who almost overslept his own benefit, is trying to get to the theater by the beginning of the performance. Everything ends well, but the last part of the journey the actor has to overcome in an empty barrel. Film historian K. E. Razlogov thought that the situations shown in the film are typical of theatrical comedy.
