Emilia arrives at her Aunt Inés' hostel located on the Argentina-Brazil border, looking for her missing brother. In this lush jungle a dangerous beast which takes the form of different animals seems to be roaming around.

Guru Chela is a heartfelt short film celebrating the timeless bond between a teacher Guru and student Chela. The story revolves around a young Chela who invites his Guru to attend his Bratabandha ceremony, a significant event in Nepalese culture marking a boy's transition into adulthood and spiritual maturity. The ceremony takes place at the Southall Temple in the United Kingdom, bringing together tradition and diaspora life. The Bratabandha combines choodakarma tonsure and Upanayana samskara, symbolizing a promise vrata and a sacred bond bandhana. It is a moment of reflection on cultural identity and spiritual growth. As the Guru blesses the Chela during the rituals, the film delves into their profound relationship. In the film, the outstanding contemporary avant-garde poet Vladimir Ignatiev, the heir of OBERIUT, appeared. He played himself and read his own poetry. The film was shot 25 years ago soon after Vladimir received a serious craniocerebral injury, received as a result of the bandit attack.

This videotape was edited together by Richard Linklater in 1991 from film countdowns and tail leaders from films submitted to the Austin Film Society in Austin, Texas from 1987 to 1990. It is Linklater's tribute to the film countdown, used by many projectionists over the years to cue one reel of film after another when switching to another reel on another projector during projection. Includes reel excerpts from films by Chantal Ackerman, Ingmar Bergman, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Cuban filmmaker Humberto Solas, Nagisa Ōshima, Monte Hellman, and Jean-Luc Godard, among many others.
