Glacier’s Requiem follows Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based modular synthesis artist Colloboh during a period of self-imposed isolation on Iceland’s Snæfellsnes Peninsula. There, he transforms near-imperceptible field recordings of a dying glacier and the ocean into evolving sonic compositions. As his work unfolds, a dialogue between ice and sea emerges – reshaping his understanding of consciousness, ecological collapse, and humanity’s place within both.
