Finding her relationship at a standstill, single mother Mel breaks up with her boyfriend. After he moves out, strange things start happening in her house that threaten her safety and well-being.

The story of the Kinahans reads like a script for a film about Pablo Escobar or a Mario Puzo novel, with suitably named cast and deadly revenge were it not played out in bloody, murderous, and often very public scenes. It is also a dynastic tale with the godfather, Christy 'The Dapper Don' Kinahan looking to the next generation to legitimise their fortune.
