Dannenberg lives alone in a house lost in the middle of the countryside, hunting for food, and living immersed in monotony. Every day he stands in front of two graves, crowned by a wooden circle. One afternoon, he sees, in the distance, the silhouettes of two people approaching. Finally, the house's grandfather clock begins to tick on its own.
