The short film is directed by 24-year-old Cannes YDA nominee Cameron Thuman, with a sensational soundtrack recorded in Berlin's Funkhaus Cathedral by Liam Mour and co-stars Canadian professional skier Mark Abma. "Dreaming of a Better Place" received a sold-out worldwide premiere at the Canadian Screen Award Qualifying Whistler Film Festival and has additional festival play scheduled throughout 2023 spanning America, Canada, and Europe, including a Director's Choice Award and Academy Award Qualifying selections.
