"The Publisher" is about the success story of a visionary man who begins after 1945 with a rickety car and a stack of novels. With his charismatic personality, he convinced the Allies to give him a newspaper license. A radio magazine soon follows, which quickly reaches millions of copies. Actress Reese Holden has been offered a small fortune by a book editor if she can secure for publication the love letters that her father, a reclusive novelist, wrote to her mother, who has since passed away.
